Šibenik is a town on the Adriatic coast of Croatia. It is famous for its Cathedral; Saint James Cathedral, which is on UNESCO World Heritage List as are the walls from the Venetian era. Within the cathedral there is a Baptism font. The Cathedral is the most important monument of the Renaissance in the whole of Croatia. The streets are narrow and most of the buildings are made of raw stone. There are also colourful painted buildings. In the middle of the old town there is a directional pole with arrows which shows distances to other cities. Johannesburg is 7883 km from Sibenik. Just a small distance away.
Great post 😊
